Our Children’s Ministry is called NextGen. We serve kids of all ages from babies to teenagers. Each week, our kids can expect to alternate between joining our main service for worship and having worship on our own upstairs in our classroom. After worship, we have our own dedicated lesson each week.
Depending on the current series that we are studying – we might have games, videos, and a craft project for the week. We know that different children will benefit from different aspects of the lesson so we take as much of a multimedia approach as possible.
As part of our weekly church newsletter, the NextGen section has additional activities that can be done at home as well as a Parent’s Page that gives you additional information to enhance our Sunday lessons for your children throughout the week.
Our students are all encouraged to come upstairs to be encouraged, and learn something they can use in their everyday lives. We welcome ALL children no matter if they have special needs. Our Children’s Ministry leader has experience with special needs children and is passionate about making sure that every child has a place to learn about God’s love for everyone.
Luke 18:16-17 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly, I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
